Sprint Offers Captioned Calling for Cell Phones

If you are a Sprint customer using an iPhone or Android device, you can now enjoy captioned calling on your cell phone. This is welcome news for cell phone users with hearing loss! If you have a Sprint Everything Data Plan, the app is free from the iTunes App Store or from the Google Play store.

Go to your app store and download the Wireless CapTel app. The app will walk you through the set-up. You will be given a special phone number to use for the calls you would like to have transcribed. The Wireless CapTel allows the user to real the phone conversations word-for-word and in real-time.
